In July 2024, Steve was appointed as Vice President and General Manager for AbbVie UK.
Steve has rejoined the UK affiliate having served in a number of international roles for AbbVie more recently. His previous role was Europe Area Commercial Head, responsible for the AbbVie portfolio and Customer Excellence across the region. This role involved coordinating financial planning, co-creating brand strategies, supporting the localisation of brand plans, driving opportunities for future acceleration, and supporting operational excellence across all AbbVie therapeutic areas.
From 2020 to 2022 Steve served as the General Manager, Atopic Dermatitis, Global Marketing & Commercial Operations, where he was based in Chicago. Prior to this he served as the Area Commercial Director, Immunology, Western Europe and Canada between 2020-2018 located in Paris.
Steve originally joined AbbVie in September 2014 as Business Unit Director, Specialty Care, UK. He was then promoted to the role of Business Unit Director, Immunology in 2015.
Steve began his career at Lundbeck in 2000 and held roles of increasing responsibility (Sales representative, Training Executive; Regional Business Manager; Senior Brand Manager; International Brand Manager; Group Marketing Manager; and Head of Psychiatry Brands) before joining Otsuka Pharmaceuticals as European Digital Health and Access Director.
Steve earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Sports Medicine from the University of Chester, England.
