Working with Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, Boehringer Ingelheim UKIE established a new innovative cardiometabolic clinic. It helped empower patients to better manage their condition, freeing up consultant time to manage more complex patients.

Take AIR (Action for Inhaler Recycling) is a Chiesi Ltd funded scheme supported by University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust (UHL) and Leicestershire and Rutland Local Pharmaceutical Committee (LPC). After two years of the scheme, more than 52,000 inhalers were returned, saving an estimated 305 tonnes of CO2 emissions.

Gilead are concerned that patients in certain areas of the country appear to face challenges in access to CAR T therapies.

Gilead worked with the NHS and charity Change Grow Live (CGL) to improve testing treatment for Hep C patients in drug treatment services. The project resulted in a 36% increase in Hep C testing, a 45% increase in referrals, and reduced phlebotomy waiting times.
